Sultanate of Kaifeng Warships
The Sultanate of Kaifeng uses a very aggressive strategy both in it's tactics and in it's warship designs, forgoing defense almost entirely in order to field fast and deadly starships.
Efreet-Class Starfighter
Size: 1
Hull: 3
Maneuver: 0
Attack: 4
Defense: 0
Traits: Reinforced Hull*2
Notes: This fighter is both deadly and durable, packing slightly more firepower than an Imperial starfighter of the same size, making it somewhat more effective vs capital ships. However, the Kaifeng trademark lack of defense means that these fighters will spend alot of time undergoing repairs.
Asp-Class Corvette
Size: 2
Hull: 2
Maneuver: 4
Attack: 2
Defense: 0
Traits: None
Notes: This ship serves well as a communications ship, a scoutship ,and also as an anti-reconnaissance patrol ship. It has the speed and firepower to be a threat for Imperial Scoutships, which it was designed to destroy.
Magi-Class Scoutship
Size: 2
Hull: 2
Maneuver: 4
Attack: 0
Defense: 0
Traits: Scanners
Notes: Essentially an Asp-Class Corvette with the armaments removed and an improved sensor suite installed, the Magi is a solid scout and communications ship.
Akinci-Class Raider
Size: 4
Hull: 8
Maneuver: 3
Attack: 6
Defense: 0
Traits: Reinforced Hull
Notes: The smallest and most common of the Kaifeng Navy's pure warships, the Akinci-Class is a superb light attack ship. Very few ships that can catch it can kill it, with the Imperial Frigate being it's most dangerous nemesis. However, the Akinci normally travel in packs, and while a single Imperial Frigate can match one of these raiders, when they hit in groups they usually come out the winner. Their one drawback is their lack of defense, typical of Kaifeng designs, meaning they frequently require rest & refitting after the most basic of engagements.
Deve-Class Supply Ship
Size: 8
Hull: 8
Maneuver: 3
Attack: 0
Defense: 0
Traits: Cargo Bay(800)
Notes: Designed specifically to support long-range raids, the Deve is ideally suited to this task. It also doubles as a very effective general transport and colonization ship.
Scimitar-Class Cruiser
Size: 10
Hull: 20
Maneuver: 3
Attack: 15
Defense: 0
Traits: Reinforced Hull
Notes: The Scimitar-Class Cruiser is essentially an upgunned Akinci-Class Raider, and it shows. While more than capable of handling an Imperial Destroyer, the Scimitar is at a huge disadvantage against the Imperial Cruiser. Fortunately, due to it's maneuverability, the Scimitar usually doesn't have to fight an Imperial Cruiser unless it chooses to.
Sipahi-Class Carrier
Size: 10
Hull: 30
Maneuver: 3
Attack: 0
Defense: 0
Traits: Reinforced Hull*2, Hanger Bay (250)
Notes: Designed as a multi-purpose colonization ship and combat carrier, the fast Sipahi-Class Carrier is successful in both endeavors. It lacks the size and capacity of an Imperial Carrier, but is much less expensive, and can take a heck of beating for it's size.
